ARTICLE 5. ZONING DISTRICTS 100 Tables — Zoning Districts and Intent
Andover Zoning Districts — AGRICULTURAL & RESIDENTIAL —
For areas that retain agricultural characteristics, but are in transition to increased urbanization, including low-density residential uses. For low density residential neighborhoods of single-family detached dwellings, while allowing certain appropriate public facilities. For low to medium density residential neighborhoods of single-family detached dwellings, while allowing certain appropriate public facilities. Intended to allow for zero lot line single-family dwellings, while retaining a minimum lot size comparable to conventional single-family dwellings in the surrounding area. Intended for low to medium density residential neighborhoods of single-family detached and two-family attached dwellings, while allowing certain appropriate public facilities Intended for medium density residential neighborhoods of single-family attached and detached dwellings, two-family dwellings and townhouses, while allowing certain appropriate public facilities Intended for higher density multiple-family residential development, typically located adjacent to arterial collector streets capable of serving the traffic generated. This district may serve as a buffer between business districts and lower density residential districts, and allow residents walkable access to business district businesses. For medium density manufactured home parks, which are located along arterial streets, and where no more than 10% of the manufactured homes are rentable.
