11. Construction contractor's office, shop, equipment and storage yards. 12. Dog kennels and related pet shops. a. When located within 300 feet of a residential district, animals must be confined in enclosed structures from 8 pm to 7 am. 13. Food preparation, processing, distribution and storage. 14. Fuel dispensers, for retail sales. 15. Furniture manufacture, assembly, repair and sales. 16. Garden centers and greenhouses. 17. Laundry, dry-cleaning and dye works. 18. Metal fabrication and assembly. 19. Outdoor operations, including display and storage of materials, and servicing of vehicles or other machines or equipment. 20. Outdoor storage , including display of goods for sale, including gardening and landscaping materials. 21. Printing and publishing companies. 22. Utility facilities, both private and public , including electric and telephone substations, gas regulator stations, pumping stations, standpipes, and water towers. 23. Self-service laundromats. 24. Self-service storage facilities, subject to the requirements of Section 4-107 of these Zoning Regulations. (See definition of SELF-SERVICE STORAGE FACILITY.) a. Exception: S igns permitted for the MXI District are applicable. 25. Sign shops and services.
117 MXI Mixed Industrial / Commercial District A. Intent. This district is intended for storefront industry and businesses whose operations are compatible in size and intensity, which do not require large amounts of land, or generate large amounts of traffic. B. MXI Permitted Uses: 1. Agricultural, construction and oil field equipment distribution, repairs, storage and sales. 2. Agricultural feed and grain storage and sales. 3. Aircraft sub-assembly and parts manufacturing. 4. Animal clinics or hospitals, subject to all the following conditions: a. When located within 300 feet of a residential district, all animals must be harbored and treated in a completely enclosed building. b. Accessory incineration for the disposal of dead animals must not create a nuisance for adjacent properties. 5. Antennas for Wireless Communication Facilities mounted on existing structures, subject to the requirements of Section 4-109 of these Zoning Regulations. 6. Assembly and sales of manufactured products such as: bags, bicycles, brooms, cosmetics, drugs, jewelry, paper goods, shoes, sporting goods, office equipment and the like. 7. Assembly, manufacture, sales or repair of electrical and mechanical appliances, components or instruments. 8. Auto, truck and motorcycle sales, new and used, and repair services, including body repair and painting. 9. Building material production, storage and sales, but not including manufactured housing, lumberyards, & lumber mills. 10. Clothing production and textile manufacture.
