During the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) migration seasons, even white storks and flamingos gather by the water's edge. These vibrant birds can be spotted year-round along the lagoon edges, diving gracefully for fish in the crystal-clear waters. In 2024, a total of 106 bird species have been recorded at Ayla Oasis, highlighting the area’s ecological importance and its role in supporting regional biodiversity.
There's something magical about mornings at Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla Resort. The kind of quiet that feels alive, where the sea holds its breath, and the sun spills golden light across the water. Whether you stepped out onto the balcony with a cup of coffee or strolled by the marina, paused as ripples broke the glassy surface, might suddenly, a dolphin curve through the air. These moments aren't planned, they aren't promised, but they happen here. From May to July, playful bottlenose dolphins are known to visit the Ayla Marina. Their visits are brief but unforgettable, like nature's own performance, offered only to those lucky enough to witness it Just steps from the resort entrance lies the Ayla Feathered Trail, a peaceful walking path that follows the edges of the lagoons.
