During the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) migration seasons, even white storks and flamingos gather by the water's edge. These vibrant birds can be spotted year-round along the lagoon edges, diving gracefully for fish in the crystal-clear waters. In 2024, a total of 106 bird species have been recorded at Ayla Oasis, highlighting the area’s ecological importance and its role in supporting regional biodiversity.
NATURE ISN'T SEPARATE FROM YOUR STAY
Beneath the water’s surface, another kind of grace moves in slow motion. Green sea turtles, with their ancient faces and gentle pace, have found quiet refuge in Ayla and Hyatt Regency Aqaba warm lagoons. At our resort, nature is part of the experience. So next time you walk along the beach or gaze out over the marina, take a moment to pause. You just might witness something truly special.
