Jackson Paper To Expand Operations With HP Digital Press For Corrugated Sylva, North Carolina based Jackson Paper Manufactur- ing Co. is expanding operations with the launch of digi- tal printing services on the industrial-grade HP PageWide C500 digital press, as it expands its sustainable corrugat- ed range of products. The new HP PageWide C500 press will operate at Sus- tainable Printing, a new Jackson Paper digital printing arm located in Georgia, where the unit will be installed this summer. Sustainable Printing will operate as a wholesale trade printer for on-demand digital printing of litho qual- ity corrugated boxes for its sheet customers to benefit from fast turnaround and variable sized orders. The new HP PageWide C500 press will enable Jackson Paper to tap into the growing high-graphics packaging market for e-commerce, shelf-ready and food and pharma applica- tions. “The purchase of the HP PageWide C500 expands our sustainability offering to our customers and market with high quality, more sustainable digital printing,” said Thomas Barker, Executive Vice President. “As a corrugated board expert and supplier for the graphics printing industry, add- ing on services for graphic printed boards will uniquely po- sition Sustainable Printing to deliver a high-quality product along with breakthrough time to market,”
