La PPO de Hawkesbury enquête sur un incident de vol à l’étalage survenu le 24 novembre 2018, au magasin de la LCBO sur la route de comté 17 à Hawkesbury. La photo d’un homme et d’une femme, qui pourraient avoir des renseignements sur le sujet selon la police, a été saisie par surveillance vidéo. CHAMPLAIN TOWNSHIP GAS STATION ROBBED
La PPO de Hawkesbury enquête sur un incident de fraude survenu le 4 novembre 2018, vers 13 h, dans un magasin local à Hawkesbury. Les fraudeurs présumés se sont présentés à la caisse du service et ont fait un petit achat en payant avec des grosses espèces. Le suspect a alors demandé de la monnaie et, ce faisant, a confondu le caissier en lui demandant de donner plus d’argent que ce qui lui était dû. Connues sous le nom d’escroqueries à changement rapide, les fraudeurs ont tendance à cibler les caissiers inexpérimentés. The Hawkesbury OPP is trying to identify a person of interest in relation to a robbery that occurred at the Esso Gas Station on County Road 17 in Champlain Township, on December 7 around 6 a.m. The investigation revealed that a woman entered the gas station and demanded money from the teller. Once she obtained the money, she left the scene in a black, older model four-door hatchback with a missing hubcap on the front left wheel. The woman is described as white, wearing a black or dark blue hoody with a pink shirt underneath and carrying a beige handbag at the time of the incident. Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of this person of interest can contact the Hawkesbury OPP at 613-632-2729 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, in which a cash reward of up to $ 2000 may also be available. —photo provided by the OPP
