REQUIREMENTS: • A minimum of 5 years practical fire department experience is pertinent • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a fire officer • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire prevention activities • Fire prevention officer (FPO) certification is an asset • Valid drivers’ license, class DZ or higher • Current valid 1st aid, CPR, DFIB and AED certifications • Bilingual (French and English) • Self-directed • Available to work evenings and weekends Major responsibilities: • Develop and implement a wide range of fire prevention and public education programs including inspections and training • Ensure fire prevention and public education programs are properly implemented and receive adequate promotion • Act as a resource for internal and external stakeholders • Liaise with various public groups, businesses and organizations A complete job description is available on our website at www.clarence-rockland.com
