Adventurers Community Integration Program Provides children aged 5-18 years, who have autism and/or developmental disabilities, with guided experiences in the community. Goals are to increase social skills, encourage friendships and explore the community. MCFD referral only. Phone.................................................................604.596.4321 Family Enhancement Program (FEP) Provides in-home support to address child protection concerns such as food security, linking to housing supports, psycho-educational skills training to address the impact of children witnessing violence in their homes and teaching positive parenting skills. FEP utilizes a culturally sensitive, trauma informed and solution focused approach in working with parents or caregivers. Clinical counsellors are available to provide counselling for issues such as couples relationship work, parent/child conflict, or grief. Supportive visitation provides a natural home-like setting for visits between partners and children in government care. Service is available for families living in Surrey. Phone.................................................................604.596.4321 Multicultural Family Preservation Program (MFPP) Provides a culturally sensitive approach to families with a linguistic preference in Punjabi, Mandarin and Tagalog, to increase positive parenting skills and address child protection concerns. Clinical counsellors are available to provide family counselling and/or couple counselling, or parent/child conflict.
