EDITORIAL Cont. from Page 5 anti-semitic attitude is most pre valent among the ghetto areas of all the minority groups in the United States as well as in the more enlightened areas o f the white population. The Jews as a nation are tolerated to a greater degree in the United States than in any other nation in the world. Actually, all nations into which the Jews have been driven have been greatly blessed in many ways, although they refuse to ac knowledge this fact. It’s the Jew ish people who have produced an abnormally large percentage o f the leaders o f any given country where they had an opportunity o f expressing their leadership abil ity. The Jewish people certainly do not engage in any more shady business than do their Gentile counterparts. Without exception, that nation has been bl essed which has harbored the Jew and allowed him to become a vital part in its development. Actually, the only people on the face o f the earth who really and truly love the Jew are the thor ough-going, Bible-believing Chris tians o f all nations. Unfortunate ly, there are, in this country, those individuals who profess to be Christians while they carry on a running hatred toward the Jewish people and find f au l t wherever possible with them as a nation and as individuals. This is not the true Christian position! Real Christians love the Jews, both because they are and have been the special objects o f God’s love and also because o f the in estimable contribution which the Jews have made toward the per sonal salvation o f all men through the person o f the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ who was a Jew. Further, the Holy Spirit Himself has implanted in the heart o f a born-again believer a deep appre ciation o f and a love for God’s chosen people. Even as God in His sovereign wisdom chose the Jewish people as the special ob ject o f His interest, so also by His sovereign will He has implanted in the hearts o f Christian people SEPTEMBER. 1969

everywhere real love for God’s chosen people. Otherwi se , we would hate the Jew even as have heathen Gentiles down through the centuries. Yes, the Bible is absolutely up-to-date. It prophe sied centuries ago the very things that have happened and are hap pening today in connection with God’s chosen people. Be cause these have been fulfilled so ac curately, we can depend upon all other prophecies yet to take place which are recorded in such mag nificent detail throughout God’s Holy Word. God is the only One who can write history in advance! OUT OF SESSION Cont. from Page 23 and What Grace Is This. (Songs For Everyone DBP 114.) Inci dentally, to clarify my earlier com ment, let me say that many denomi nations have recorded their choirs, but these happen to be the latest, and in future months I’ll be introducing others. An additional comment here is due. Talented DEAN BROWN is in many ways responsible fo r the quality sound o f many o f these non-professional art ists and groups with respect to their re cordings. Dean Brown Productions in Southern California has come to the aid o f many fine groups and has given to the music industry a fresh and pleas ant sound which otherwise would go on unheard. PAUL MICHELSON and these talented girls, guess I should say Mothers, at least two o f them at press time, have worked very hard to bring you their next recording due this Fall. This has been proven by the fact that their latest release (Singing Along The Way, Supreme S-220) which inciden tally was recorded while on tour in Sweden, was the recipient o f the covet ed NE FF Award fo r best trio (N a tional Evangelical Film Foundation). This is the second time The Langs have received this award and the fa ct that this is only their third recording tells the quality and appeal o f this fine wor* - Cont. on page 42 The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM) MORE THAN 940 MISSIONARIES assigned to 21 fields around the world.
