InterContinental David Tel Aviv Unveils New Premium Terrace Rooms The new room category debuts following a ₪ 40 million transformation, featuring spacious private terraces with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and Tel Aviv skyline
I nterContinental David Tel Aviv, a modern oasis on the Mediterranean coastline, proudly introduces its new Premium Terrace Rooms, a new accommodation category created as part of a comprehensive ₪ 40 million renovation project. Located on the hotel’s fifth through tenth floors, the new rooms combine contemporary design, generous living space, exceptional comfort, and panoramic views of both the Mediterranean Sea and the vibrant skyline of Tel Aviv. The extensive transformation included the renovation of approximately 105 guestrooms, with additional suites scheduled to debut in the coming months. Beyond the guestrooms, the project also reimagined the corridors, guestroom entrances, and connecting public spaces to create a seamless, elegant, and tranquil arrival experience, all with one clear objective: to provide guests with the highest levels of comfort, wellbeing, and relaxation. The Premium Terrace Rooms have been
thoughtfully designed in line with IHG Hotels & Resorts’ guest-centric vision, placing guest wellbeing, comfort, and intuitive luxury at the heart of the experience. The defining feature of the new category is the seamless integration of spacious interiors with expansive terraces-among the largest of their kind in Tel Aviv- offering approximately 28–30 sqm of interior living space complemented by 12 sqm private terraces. Overlooking both the Mediterranean Sea and the city’s dynamic skyline, the terraces invite guests to relax, dine, or simply embrace the ever-changing coastal scenery, creating a natural connection between indoor living and the surrounding urban and seaside landscape. Inspired by the Scandinavian
light oak millwork, tactile natural textures, and a soothing palette of warm neutrals accented with subtle Mediterranean blues, the interiors evoke a refined residential aesthetic. Large glass doors flood the rooms with natural light while extending the living space onto the private terrace, creating a seamless dialogue between indoors and the Mediterranean beyond. Soft layered lighting, carefully curated furnishings, and an uncluttered design language foster an atmosphere that encourages guests to slow down, unwind, and reconnect.Extending the rooms’ residential design philosophy, the spacious bathrooms have been envisioned as private wellness sanctuaries.
