The Sylvac P12D is a Swiss-made absolute digital measuring probe with an inductive design and direct digital output. Designed for accurate distance and form - deviation measurements. Using a patented dual measuring system (inductive + capacitive), it ensures exceptional accuracy across its full 12.7mm range. Depending on configuration, you can select between a standard 0.1µm resolution or a high-resolution 0.01µm option. Its absolute measuring architecture features built-in electronic error correction, eliminating the need for re-pairing with measurement units. The probe is designed for longevity, with a stainless-steel body (Ø 12mm), an 8 h6 fixing diameter, and a ball-bearing guide rated for at least 100 million cycles (30 million under radial load). Outputs include USB or M8 connectors, and data can be read at up to 100 measurements per second.

Sylvac long travel probes have built-in capacitive transducers which allow them to function for both absolute and comparative measurements. The Sylvac capacitive probes can be used with all Sylvac digital display units.
