Avery Dennison President and CERO Mitch Butler has been elected by the Board of Directors of Avery Dennison to serve as chairman. Dean Scarborough, Avery Dennison’s current chairman, has informed the Board of his in- tention to not stand for reelection. Scarborough leaves the Board after serving nine years as chair, capping a career with the company that began in 1983. He served as president and CEO from 2005 to 2016. Flexible Packaging Association The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) announced the election of its 2019 Board of Directors. Curt Begle, President of the Health, Hygiene, and Specialties Divi- sion of Berry Global, is the new Chairperson of the FPA Board of Directors. Begle succeeds David Staker, President and CEO, Plastic Packaging Technologies, LLC, who served as Chairperson of the FPA Board of Directors from March 2018 – March 2019.
