Job purpose • Assist in the coordination of all capital and revenue budgets and will liaise with all teams on providing regular information, updates and budgets. • Liaise with Director of Estates, Deputy Director of Estates, the Head of Projects, Head of Maintenance & Facilities and the Head of Space Strategy, Planning & Sustainability on cost estimating of all University capital, revenue and maintenance works. • Provide specialist commercial advice within the Estates Department playing a key role in all stages of Projects which require forward planning. • Provide an in-house cost management service on projects (Cost Reporting, Cashflow Forecasting and Feasibility Advice) and evaluate proposals and the resources required for construction and engineering related projects, associated works and services of any value. • To contribute to option appraisals and risk analysis providing procurement and contractual advice. • Provide cost management and cost reconciliation services for the Hard and Soft FM contracts. • Provide cost management and estimating services for maintenance projects, minor works and cyclical replacements. 12
