• Support the Head of Maintenance and Facilities in developing and monitoring costed backlog maintenance plans based on condition surveys and Estates Department site knowledge. • Implement and maintain records and procedures relating to University project management, procurement, budgets and all other relevant systems and procedures where appropriate. • Generate financial information and analyses in relation to grant funding applications and management. • Establish and implement cost, value and risk management procedures in accordance with the University’s financial regulations and procurement policies. • Manage, recommend and implement procurement processes of consultants and contractors in accordance with the University’s financial regulations. • Monitor and report on costs through the project life-cycles on a regular basis. • Administer, analyse and report on departmental budgets. • Prepare outline cost plans and estimates to contribute to the selection of preferred solutions, options appraisals and establishment of budgets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Cost and Commercial Management • Maintain overall responsibility for co-ordinating both Capital, Revenue and Maintenance budgets • Liaise with Director of Estates, Deputy Director of Estates, Head of Projects, Head of Maintenance and Head of Space Strategy, Planning & Sustainability, and the Farm and Estate Manager on cost estimating of all University capital

and revenue project and maintenance works. • Prepare cost plans at various project stages.
