Communicating and Reporting • Contractors and Suppliers to gather and disseminate commercial information as appropriate. • Prepare and contribute to reports and attending Programme Steering Groups, Project Steering Groups, FM contract review groups and Senior Management Team and Board of Governors as appropriate. • Forge working relationships with the Finance and Procurement Department. • From time to time, represent the department as necessary, internally and externally. Compliance with Statutory and University Regulations • Ensure Departmental compliance with all University Financial Regulations. • Working with the relevant departments, contribute to identifying all statutory financial and procurement obligations and ensure that they are met. • Ensure that Project Management Procedures and Departmental Quality Standards are met with particular focus on commercial reports issued to external departments. Other Responsibilities

• Adhere to and support the development of all relevant Estates Department procedures including Project Management, Maintenance Management, Health and Safety. • Challenge inappropriate controls and recommend and implement alternative solutions. • Engage in appropriate training programmes in the University. • Actively follow and promoting University policies. • Participate in the staff performance and development review scheme.
