Les gens de Casselman ont fêté l’arrivée de la belle température en grand le weekend dernier, à l’occasion du Backyard Party organisé par la Brasserie Cassel Brewery. Pour l’occasion, plus de 300 personnes se sont rassemblées dans la cour arrière de la brasserie artisanale au cours des 11 et 12 mai. THE SUN CAME OUT FOR POUTMASTERS 2018
The 2018 Russell Poutmasters took place from Friday, May 11, in the late afternoon until the afternoon of Sunday, May 13. The 19 th Annual Poutmasters took place along the Castor River and any fish caught and taken alive during the weigh-in was eligible in the contest. Awards were given out on Sunday, May 13, for the biggest and heaviest catches. The prizes included a canoe, a kayak, a $500 spa certificate and other cash prizes. People of all ages, from young children to seniors, and families gathered at different
spots along the Castor River and set up picnics and barbecues while fishing under the sun. —photo Alexia Marsillo
