The construction industry has faced unprecedented challenges in recent years, from material shortages to skyrocketing costs. Matthew’s experience during the COVID-19 pandemic underscored the importance of strong relationships with suppliers and tradespeople. "During COVID, my electrician...said, 'I'm okay if we don't make money, I just don't want to lose money on them.' And we worked through it," Matthew recalls. This collaborative spirit and willingness to find solutions together are testaments to the strong partnerships Royal Design Build has cultivated. Looking ahead, Matthew sees exciting opportunities for growth and innovation. The company is set to start several custom spec homes, allowing them to explore new design ideas and materials. "For us, the fun is being able to look at some of these TikToks and some of these other things. Oh man, that looks so cool. I wish we could do something like that," he enthuses. This blend of custom and spec homebuilding will enable Royal Design Build to push creative boundaries while maintaining their high standards of quality.
