A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing

before the Lord on Judg- ment Day will hear the words, “well done My good and faithful servant?” It is not a coincidence that this article is accom- panied by a picture of a wolf in sheep’s clothing — standing at a pulpit — in a sheep-filled church. I, for one, will not stand silently by while the Word of God is being misused, twisted, dis- torted, blasphemed, re- placed or forgotten. That is why I will continue to write and expose the truth. In closing pastors, take a good look in the mirror and ask yourself, “Do any of these descriptions of a wolf in sheep’s cloth- ing describe you? Then remember Who you will be standing before come Judgment Day.

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.”
Since the Bible makes references to the term “a wolf in sheep’s clothing” in several passages, includ- ing those in Matthew, Acts and Isaiah, I asked members of our congre- gation to describe in their own words what they believe to be a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.” The following are some of the responses I received:
• Do you believe a pastor who teaches “Replacement
• “a con man”
• “one who mixes lies with the truth”
• “a pastor who preaches falsehoods”
• “a liar or deceiver or a fake”
• “a pastor who strays from the truth of Scrip- ture” • “a pastor who twists Scripture to fit a world- view” • “pastors who were relied upon for the truth, but have strayed from the nar- row road”

the inside. They are intent on destroying faith and causing “spiritual carnage” within the Church while enriching themselves. Any of this sound familiar? They introduce destruc- tive heresies and bring the way of truth into dispute. They mix some truth with their heresies and care- fully choose their words which are meant to seduce the weak in faith and the unstable. Acts 8:20 puts it this way, “I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own num- ber, men will arise and dis- tort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on guard.” That “so be on guard” is a warning — a warning more relevant today than ever before. Ken Ham recently re- ported a “female” “pastor,” “married” to her lesbian partner, who calls the Bible “problematic.” In her own words she states, “I’m in the opinion that we need a Third Testament because the Bible has be- come ‘problematic.’ I am a believer, but I am com- pletely frustrated with the way in which the Biblical text speaks to the kind of vitriolic God that makes those kinds of things.” She then goes on to say the pages of Scripture that she doesn’t agree with should be torn out. This “pastor” goes on to even doubt if Scripture is really the Word of God. Someone should explain to this woman that God’s Word is sovereign — not her opin-
So pastors, I have a few questions for you.

• Do you consider this “pastor” to be a “wolf in sheep’s clothing?” • Do you believe a pastor who supports the LGBTQ ideology and homosexual “marriage” and conducts same-sex “marriages” to be a “wolf in sheep’s clothing?” • Do you believe a pastor who supports the “trans ideology” making a mock- ery of God’s creation of man and woman to be a “wolf in sheep’s cloth- ing?” • Do you believe a pastor who caters more to the world than that of God’s instruction to be a “wolf in sheep’s clothing?” • Do you believe a pastor who “adds to or takes away” from God’s Word to be a “wolf in sheep’s clothing?” • Do you believe a pastor who waters down Scrip- ture and never speaks of sin, in order to not offend … and keep his pews and tithing baskets full on Sunday morning to be a “wolf in sheep’s cloth- ing?” • Do you believe a pastor who is more interested in building his own personal kingdom than that of the Lord’s kingdom to be a “wolf in sheep’s cloth- ing?” • Do you believe a pastor who supports and en- gages in “Progressive Christianity,” such as the female pastor in Ken’s ar-
• “one who manipulates us in order to deceive us”
• “someone who appears to be on your side, sup- porting you and your way of thinking, claiming to be one with you, however in truth they are not and have an agenda to lead you astray” One brave soul said the first thing that came to mind was a “Democrat.” Yet another responded, “all self-serving politicians.” I then asked ChatGPT the same question and got the following answers: • “A wolf in sheep’s cloth- ing is someone who is try- ing to look good while intentionally leading peo- ple astray and down the wrong path.” • “A wolf in sheep’s cloth- ing is symbolic for some- one who outwardly looks harmless and kind and with good intentions … but inwardly is full of evil and deceit.” The Bible warns us of such persons in Matthew 7:15-16, “Watch out for false prophets, they come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are fero- cious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them.”
