The Clarence-Rockland Public Library is hosting a fundraising event on Saturday, May 12, for the future development of the library and for the Ottawa Hospital Breast Health Centre. The event, entitled Once Upon a Time ,
will be held at the Rockland branch of the library on 4BUVSEBZ .BZ at 5 p.m. The goal of the event is to create a dynamic li- brary space where community mem- bers of all ages can come together to exchange ideas and be inspired, as well as have the opportunity to donate funds to

La bibliothèque publique de Clarence- Rockland organise un événement de collecte de fonds le samedi 12 mai. Le but de l’événement est de créer un espace de bibliothèque dynamique où les membres de la communauté de tous âges peuvent se réunir pour échanger des idées et être inspirés, ainsi que pour amasser des fonds au Centre de santé du sein de l’Hôpital d’Ottawa.
Le Club Optimiste Hammond a reçu un don de 1000 $ de la Banque Scotia de Rockland, lors de son souper de doré et whist militaire, le vendredi 6 avril. Le Club a aussi reconnu la contribution financière de la Caisse Trillium division Hammond pour son soutien tout au long de l’année. Cette somme servira à maintenir les activités, programmes et concours pour les jeunes, parrainés par le Club Optimiste Hammond, y compris L’art de s’exprimer, L’art oratoire, L’action du mois, La sécurité sur roues , entre autres.
