Les candidatures pour les postes décrits ci-dessous seront acceptées par la greffière de la municipalité de Clarence-Rockland en tout temps lors des heures normales de bureau (de 8 h 30 à 16 h 30), à compter du mardi 1er mai 2018. La date limite pour les candidatures est le jour de la déclaration des candidatures, le vendredi 27 juillet 2018, de 9 h à 14 h. Afin de poser sa candidature, il faut remplir et déposer un formulaire de candidature au bureau de la greffière, accompagné des frais de 200 $ pour le poste de maire, et de 100 $ pour tous les autres postes. Les candidats seront tenus de présenter une pièce d’identité. Seuls les formulaires originaux signés seront acceptés en personne (aucune télécopie ou photocopie). Les documents de candidature doivent être accompagnés de 25 signatures d’appui de la part d’électeurs admissibles. L’exigence de présenter 25 signatures ne s’applique pas aux candidats à un poste de conseiller scolaire.
Nominations for the positions as outlined below will be received by the Clerk of the City of Clarence-Rockland at any time during normal office hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) commencing Tuesday May 1, 2018 and the deadline for submission is on nomination day, Friday July 27, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A nomination is made by completing and filing at the office of the Clerk, a prescribed nomination form accompanied by a filing fee of $200 for the Head of Council and $100 for all other offices. Candidates will be required to provide proof of identity. Only forms with original signatures will be accepted in person (no faxes, no photocopies). Nominations papers are to be accompanied by 25 endorsement signatures from eligible electors. The requirement to submit 25 signatures does not apply to candidates running for school board trustee positions
