workers will be on the site. Overall, “a few

hundred people” will be working at the

The firm submitted the lowest of nine

tenders on the project that was originally

estimated to cost $31,699,958.

The federal andprovincial governmentsare

each contributing $11,882,988. The town is

financing its share by taking $1.6 million

from reserves and borrowing $10.5million.

Engineering fees are 12 per cent of the

total, or about $3.2 million, and project

be about $810,000.
