from long-standing gardeners and staff to visitors who return, now bringing the next generation. The garden stretches across 26 acres and has been shaped by nearly 200 years of planting. Set in a sheltered, south-facing valley, it has its own sub-tropical feel, with winding paths and dense, jungle-like growth. You can take different routes, double back, and still find quiet spaces, even in summer.
There is plenty to discover, from hidden corners and the quieter walled garden to newer areas like the Court Garden. Between May and September, the Gallery exhibition shares the story of Trebah. A Cornish gem not to be missed.
Trebah Garden is one of those places you can end up staying most of the day. When Carly spoke with James, the Garden’s Marketing Manager, he mentioned he started there ten years ago scooping ice cream and never left. There is a real sense of people becoming part of the spirit of Trebah,
