For Ross at Spyrys Spas & Hot Tubs , the move into hot tubs was not planned, but it made sense. Coming from a carpentry background, he was used to building practical spaces people actually use. When he came across the business in December 2023 he went for it, because it was something ‘different’ and, in his words, “a fun industry to work in.” The business itself has already seen a shift in direction. Part of that growth and expansion has come from looking at what complements the hot tub experience. From pergolas and outdoor kitchens to saunas and cold water setups, the focus has moved towards creating a complete outdoor space that people can use regularly. Ross has lived in Cornwall for the past six years and spends as much time as he can outdoors. Heading out on the water or walking around places like Padstow and Rock is part of everyday life.
Spyrys focuses on creating outdoor spaces people can use to relax, entertain, or simply switch off at home. Making the most of where you live, and using it all year round, is what it comes down to. For many, it becomes like gaining an extra room in the garden.
