Forever Homes Kat has recently begun an exciting new chapter, moving into Oakwell as her first adult placement. Following a successful transition, she arrived at her new home as planned, marking a significant milestone in her journey towards greater independence. The move was made even more special as Kat celebrated her 18th birthday just a day apart from Service Manager Jenni’s birthday too - both smiling for their joint birthday celebrations!

Harris, who lives with Prader-Willi Syndrome and Crohn’s disease, moved from a remote Aberdeenshire village to Clare House in July 2025 after determined effort from himself, his family and the team. Since then, he has embraced independence, attending church, volunteering, staying active, and losing 26kg with strong support. He has also trained his support team to support him in the way he wants.
