KID LIT
What books are students excited about reading these days?
Hunter X Hunter Probably some of the most complex and interesting characters I’ve read. Amazing power system and story arc.
Student responses gathered by the English Language Arts Council (ELAC).
The Forgotten Way: The Saint James Master Plan The book is teaching me things that I have never considered to be important.
The Strength of the Few I am enjoying the political conflict and how their society is set up (a hierarchy with an individual giving their strength to those above).
Vanishing Girls It is very exciting at the start. The overall plot so far is very interesting.
Midnight Sun After reading the Twilight series, [I find it] interesting to hear the story told from another point of view. It adds a lot of dimension to the story. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens This book shows how the seven habits will help you whether it’s with self talk or relationships with others.
