CCL Label Launches New Website, Sustainability Configurator CCL Label, a provider of specialty label and packaging solutions, has launched a new website that includes a Sustainability Configurator. This feature reportedly helps brands explore label and decoration solutions tailored to their packaging requirements. The launch comes as the European Union’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regu- lation (PPWR) begins to apply, putting greater emphasis on packaging recyclability, material efficiency, and circularity. For brands, this means that packaging decisions – includ- ing the choice of label – increasingly need to be consid- ered from the very beginning of the design process. Fundamental Change “The role of the label has fundamentally changed. It is no longer enough to ask whether a label looks good or performs well on the shelf. We have to consider how it be- haves as part of the complete packaging system and what happens to it after use,” says Reinhard Streit, Group Vice President, Food & Beverage Global, CCL Label. “With our new Packaging Configurator, we want to make this think- ing easier for brands and packaging designers. It provides a practical starting point for exploring label technologies and making more informed choices for packaging de- signed with circularity in mind.” Xerox Partners With Flint Group Digital Xeikon Xerox Holdings Corporation has formed a strategic part- nership with Flint Group Digital Xeikon to broaden its pro- duction print portfolio, while aiming to strengthen its posi- tion in high-growth segments. Important Milestone As part of the agreement, Xerox will integrate Flint Group Digital Xeikon technology into its production print portfolio, combining color presses with the Xerox Produc- tion Ecosystem, global distribution capabilities, workflow automation software, finishing solutions, remote services, and global support infrastructure. “This partnership represents an important milestone in the evolution of the Xerox production print business,” said Terry Antinora, President, Global Production Print Services at Xerox. “By combining Flint Group Digital Xeikon digital press technology with the Xerox Production Ecosystem, we are delivering a complete production platform that helps print providers increase productivity, unlock new ap- plications, and drive profitable growth.” This addition will complement flagship offerings like the Xerox Iridesse Production Press, Xerox Proficio PX500/ PX300 Presses, Xerox IJP900 Inkjet Press, and Xerox PrimeLink printers and presses.
