Zionsville: Getting Back In Shape After Quarantine

More Patient Success "I was able to swim again!" "I used to be a swim instructor and after I had back surgery I was unable to swim - an activity I enjoyed the most. During my therapy sessions here at ZPT, I went on vacation and stepped into the water - I was able to swim! I was so thrilled that after going to ZPT I was able to get back to my favorite exercise activity. Thank you!" - Jane L.

"Touchdown for Our Team!"

"On July 29, 2019, I had surgery on my right shoulder because I could no longer lift so much as a small drill above my head - which is important since I am an electrician. I could no longer "high five" fans at Colts games, which is also important as I am also a gorilla at all Colts home games. During the recovery process I had a second injury to the same shoulder, tearing everything loose that had been originally repaired. After a second surgery, rehab started for me on October 11, 2019. Emina, Taylor, and the rest of the staff at ZPT pushed this 63 year old man harder than I have ever been pushed, and in two and a half months I was able to put the gorilla suit on again and work the last Colts home game. It has taken an additional two and a half months to get me back in "good shape." The staff at ZPT will push you and ask you to do things you might think impossible, but trust and believe in them. Everything they ask you to do will not only make you heal faster, but you will be as good or better than you were before your troubles. I am not an expert on physical therapy but I know ZPT cares, and will do all they can to make your workouts as safe and enjoyable as possible. I want to thank them for helping me look forward to the next Colts season." - Jeff C, aka "Rilla"

GOODBYE TO OUR GOOD FRIEND, MARISSA!

Highly Recommended By Zionsville Physical Therapy Everyone: Drink lots of water, eat clean, organic, non-GMO foods, limit your sugar and processed foods, and exercise 30 minutes every day. This is a wake-up call for everyone to get healthier and boost our immune systems naturally. For those who are getting out currently: We are taking appointments for May and June for our past patients who were put on hold, for anyone who is preparing for orthopedic surgery and for those who have been working from home and straining their posture. If you are in pain, call soon to make an appointment for evaluation. Our cleaning and disinfecting procedures will continue. For those who are still sheltering in due to illness or age precaution: You might consider making an appointment for a virtual visit through a smart phone or computer, or simply call to request a phone conversation with one of our therapists. We want you to stay connected and healthy as we all get back to strengthening our bodies and minds, in order to return to purposeful living with our families, friends, and community members. Encouragement, Hope, Connection, Laughter, Inspiration, Reflection: Let's get there! Together. We can help.

We have some good news and some bad news: first the bad news. Marissa and her hubby and baby JJ are moving to Columbus, Ohio, and she thinks it is too far to commute to Zionsville. She has been a powerhouse brainy go-getter, a clinician who cares and encourages in every interaction. The good news: she is moving to be closer to family in Ohio, as she is a Buckeye, as is her hubby Jeff. We wish them all the best in their big move, and may God always bless you, Marissa! We will miss you!
