JUNIOR PROVINCE VICE POLEMARCHS' ROLL CALL

Northern Province: Silas Shorter (Sigma 2017)

Silas Shorter is Spring 2017 initiate of the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor Chapter, the Sigma of Kappa Alpha Psi ® . Raised in Detroit, Michi- gan, Silas is a third-year student at the university. He is studying Bio- psychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience (BCN) and plans to graduate in May of 2020. Upon graduation, he plans to attend Dental School, specializing in orthodontics. He has always wanted to enter healthcare and plans on opening a private practice.

During his time as an undergraduate, Silas has served in multiple capaci- ties. He serves as the Vice Polemarch of the Sigma Chapter, he has served on the Northern Province Board as an Undergraduate Board Member and is now the current Junior Province Vice Polemarch. Silas serves on the board for the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and is also a founder and board member of his student organization ‘Brothers Seeking Billions’ (BSB).

Eastern Province: Tyleik Edmunds (Theta Psi 2017)

Tyleik Edmunds is a Spring 2017 initiate of the Virginia Tech Chapter, the Theta Psi of Kappa Alpha Psi ® and is a Senior Building Construction major. Upon graduation, he plans on pursuing a career in virtual design. His fascination in the bare bones that make up construction drew him to it. Once he got a taste of virtual design he fell in love with it, now being able to construct a 3-Dimensional from the concrete slabs to the French light fixtures.

During his time as an undergrad, Tyleik served as the Keeper of Exchequer for his Chapter. He also co-founded a social group called Finesse Entertainment. He stayed very active in his community, volunteering for Relay for Life, God’s Store House, among many other service organizations. In his leisure time, Tyleik likes to write and produce music.

Southern Province - Alabama: Larry Lumbard III (Kappa Kappa 2016)

Larry Lumbard is a spring 2016 initiate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham Chapter, the Kappa Kappa of Kappa Alpha Psi ® . He is senior Kinesiology major with a 3.2 GPA who is pursuing a career as a strength and condition coach after graduation. Larry has served as the head student assistant for mens basketball for the past four years and now he is a strength and conditioning intern that works with basketball, golf, and tennis. In addition to this Larry is also the Polemarch of his undergraduate Chapter as well as Junior Vice Polemarch for the state of Alabama.

Larry enjoys going to church on Sunday and he attends 22 nd Avenue Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, working out, and reading up on the latest news on strength and conditioning. Some of Larry’s biggest accomplishments include winning a Confer- ence USA Basketball Championship as well as having numerous leadership positions on campus. Larry has three main core values which are perseverance, integrity, and respect.
