DEPARTMENT GOALS The primary goals of Allied Health Sciences at Southwestern Oklahoma State University are to: • Provide college-based curriculum integrated with hands-on experience at health care institutions. • Provide students with the necessary knowledge to function in a health care service organization. • Provide programs that develop entry level competencies as prescribed by national accrediting agencies. • Prepare students to pass professional licensure and certification exams. • Provide pre-professional students guidance and counseling for selected professional programs.
