The Kislak Company Years with company/firm: 3 Years in field: 3 Years in real estate industry: 3 Real estate organizations/affiliations: NJAA What is your greatest professional accomplishment? Being honored with Kislak’s prestigious Rookie of the Year Award for my accomplishments in 2021. What is your most notable project, deal or transaction? My most notable project was selling Friendly Self Storage Facility. This was the first deal I sold where I represented both the buyer and the seller. There was a tremendous amount of interest in the property when I got the exclusive listing, and brought it to the market. Once we were under contract there were a variety of environmental concerns that we needed to address. This slowed the deal down by a few months but we were able to overcome the obstacles and get to the closing table. How do you contribute to your company and/or the industry? I attend as many company events as possible always doing my best to repre - sent Kislak as a leader in investment sales within the industry. Who or what has been the strongest influence in your career? My senior partner and mentor Matt Weilheimer has been the more supportive and helpful than I could ever ask. As I’ve grown in my career he has been there for me on all of my deals, especially when challenges arise. What impact has social media/networking had on your career? Social media has been an excellent tool allowing me to connect with buyers, sellers, and other vendors in the industry. Content that I put out months ago is still being seen today, constantly increasing my presence as a professional in Commercial Real Estate. Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current position and why you choose the field/pro - fession you are in today? I began my career in April 2019, I got my real estate license and jumped directly into the commercial side of the business. I had a strong interest in working with investors and I am excited that I have the opportunity to learn from the movers and shakers in the industry every day.

What is your most notable project, deal or transaction? Definitely my most recent sale, a 19.2 million dollar portfolio deal in which I represented both the seller and the purchaser. The sellers were looking to 1031 exchange into a triple net lease portfolio, and the buyer was also on a 1031 exchange, so it was almost a three part transaction with a lot of moving parts. Who or what has been the strongest influence in your career? My supervisor Avi Oren, he has such a calmness about him and is such a beacon of knowledge, everything I have learned and anything I have done has been a result of his guidance and mentorship. What impact has social media/networking had on your career? I think I’m a little behind in using social media to network, however I’ve had some success using it to advertise deals. I definitely use a more traditional ap - proach, which is part of why I like real estate, there are a variety of different methods to meet new clients and be successful. Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current position and why you choose the field/pro - fession you are in today? I began working for Kislak in the fall of 2019, I got connected from a very dear friend of mine who had several family members working for the firm. I wanted a career with high upside, and real estate always appealed to me. I specialize in multifamily sales in the lower Hudson Valley, particularly Rockland County and parts of Westchester. What were some of your early goals and did anything happen to change them? I really didn’t have any specific goals early on, I just tried to follow the direc - tion of people I deemed successful in the industry. My goal was always just to make as much money as possible, so I just tried to work as hard as I could to put myself out there. What unique qualities and or personality do you feel makes you most successful in your profession? Without a doubt my sense of humor, I never take anything too seriously.
