Hagan Homes boosts turnover

Ballyclare housebuilder Hagan Homes has reported a strong year of growth, with turnover increasing by 23.6% to £17.4m for the year ending June 30, 2025. In its most recent financial results, the firm also revealed that pre-tax profits rose by 22.7% to £1.73m, and profits after tax by 29.4% to £1.21m. Hagan Homes said it has seen steady demand for high-quality housing, while navigating challenges including mortgage affordability and wider cost pressures. The business is currently progressing or has completed a number of developments across the region, including sites in Ballyclare, Comber, East Belfast, Coleraine, Greenisland, Castlecaufield, Dungannon and Ballymoney. Hagan Homes has delivered more than 5,000 homes across Northern Ireland over the past 30 years and says it remains focused on building energy-efficient homes in locations where demand is strongest. Development of an eight-acre site on the Ballinderry Road in Lisburn will provide 119 social and private rental homes in partnership with MJ McBride, including two-, three- and four-bedroom houses and wheelchair-adapted homes and apartments. Planning permission has been granted for 210 new high-quality Clanmil homes across three schemes in Lisburn and Dromara, representing an investment of more than £50m. The first of the three schemes at Moybrick Road, Dromara will provide 16 new social homes and is being delivered by Clanmil in partnership with developer WE Elliott & Son Ltd. The second scheme will see the site of the former Charles Hurst showroom on the Belfast Road in Lisburn regenerated in partnership with developer Lotus Homes to
