Q: What designatory letters can I use after my name? A: Associate members and above can use the CIPP membership designatory letters as follows: ACIPP (associate) MCIPP (full) FCIPP (fellow) Ch prefix (Chartered e.g. ChFCIPP) A: We don’t allow the use of the CIPP logo on personal communications. Using your designatory letters after your name will show people you are part of the CIPP membership family. If you want to further demonstrate your commitment to the industry, consider Chartered membership (our highest level of professional recognition); or the Payroll Assurance Scheme (our quality assessment accreditation). Q: Do I have to log my continuing professional development (CPD)? A: It is essential that all payroll, pension and reward professionals are kept up to date with changes in the industry. Logging CPD allows you to keep track of the learning and development you have completed; and to

Q: How can I change my details? A: You can change some of your personal details including home and work address, email, phone number and preferences online in your My CIPP account. Visit cipp.org.uk/mycipp to change your details.

CPD works best when it has a purpose and the CIPP logging tool relies on you setting your own learning objectives to log your activities against. You will need to have at least one learning objective set before you can log any CPD. Visit cipp.org.uk/CPD for details. Q: How can I use my experience to be more involved with the CIPP? A: There are many ways to get involved with the CIPP. You could be a tutor, a Chartered member, an event speaker, a magazine contributor, or even a board member.
