I.D. Images LLC, a pressure sensitive label converter with headquarters in Brunswick, Ohio, has opened a new facility in Rancho Cucamonga, California.This is the company’s fifth new facility in five years.

TLMI Committees Set 2016 Agenda

More than 50 Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI) converter and supplier members gathered in Tampa, Florida, last week for the association’s annual January Committee Summit. Attendees spent two days with their respective committees mapping out priorities and discussing objectives for the coming year and beyond. For the first time, in 2016, the TLMI Board of Di- rectors opened the Summit to all of TLMI’s commit- tees. The Board’s objective in inviting all committees to attend is to further cultivate cooper- ation and idea sharing between groups, and to pro- mote collaborative discussions and goals relevant to multiple committees. The committees in attendance in Tampa included Environmental Health & Safety, Government & Regu- latory Affairs, Learning, Marketing, Membership,Tech- nical, and Future Leaders. Goldrich Printpak Selects Esko Kongsberg System Goldrich Printpak Inc., a folding box company lo- cated in Toronto, Canada, has installed an Esko Kongs- berg XN24 finishing table and ArtiosCAD software to finish samples and short production runs for its cus- tomers. Operating from a 67,700-square-foot facility, Goldrich Printpak Inc. is an integrated full-service manufacturer of custom printed paper boxes, report- edly meeting every need from concept and design to finished packaging and co-packaging. Goldrich strives to reduce the environmental impact of its business. For example, Goldrich prints using vegetable based, non-toxic, low VOC and direct con- tact eco-certified inks, giving its clients confidence that their products are 100 percent consumer safe. The Kongsberg XN comes with a wide range of specialty tools to automatically handle a wide variety of materials, such as corrugated, folding carton, solid board, foam, coating blankets, and a long list of plas- tics. The Kongsberg XN 24 can work with materials as large as 68 inches x 140 inches.
