LAMADELEINE

CASSELMAN MAYOR

I have dedicated approximately 25 years of my life as mayor of Casselman. Now is the time for me to step down and give my place to a candidate such as Daniel Lafleur. He is a good worker, and very efficient. I accepted to resign in order to allow him to become mayor while there is no competition, it may be different coming next term. I would like to thank my office personel, all previous and present councillors for all the good work accomplished and the successes we have experienced. At this time please consider the new members on council as councilors as they are devoted, interested, and smart. We do not go in politics for money or power but to achieve something and leave a legacy. You will need a strong and united council to be successful.

Thank you all for the privilege of allowing me to serve you and put Casselman on the map permanently. I want to thank God for giving me good health, his wisdom to make good decisions and his guidance.
