Harlingen. On August 10th, Back To Action Physical Therapy in Harlingen was pleased to donate school supplies for Fill The Bus sponsored by HEB and the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley. We are always pleased to helpthecommunity.Ourofficemanager,Pam, even got some air time on KGBT channel 4! We had a potential physical therapy student dosomeobservationworkwithusduring the month of August. We all would like to wish her luck in her future endeavors and hope she gets accepted into the physical therapy program of her choice. Del Rio. Del Rio Back to Action hosted the monthly Chamber of Commerce After Hours Mixer this month. Over 100 people came out to network and socialize with us. Localbusinesses,chambermembersand the community came together to donate funds to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey and the Chamber presented a check for nearly $20,000 to HEB to purchase the water, and have it sent where needed the most. We are so proud to be a part of such a caring and giving community!

Brownsville. BackToActionPhysicalTherapy celebrated employee, Ariana’s, birthday. Happy Birthday Ariana! BackToAction took time tovolunteer to read to the children at the lobby of Brownsville Kiddie Health Center while they were waiting fortheirappointments.Thechildrenwerevery happy and for a brief moment had thought of nothing but to enjoy the stories from the children’s books read to them by one of our staff,Pamela.Nothingsatisfiesthesoulbetter than giving your time to make people feel better even if it was just for a short moment. People will forget what you did for them but theywillneverforgethowyoumadethemfeel. Eagle Pass. We would like to congratulate our patient care coordinator, Nohemi, and assistant patient care coordinator and PT tech, Susan, on celebrating their 1st year anniversaries with us. BacktoActionhelpedUMCcelebrateNational Health Center Week on August 16th. They hosted a very successful health fair where hundredsofmembersofourcommunity took part of the free health screens and got a lot of useful information regarding health and wellness. Knowledge is power. Keep moving and get informed! We would like to wish all our E. P. I. S. D. students, faculty, and staff a very healthy and successful 2017-2018 school year. Go Eagles! Go Mavs!
