Pirtek Technicians are trained to City & Guilds Certification standards All Pirtek staff are extensively trained in relevant areas of the business. Courses at our National Training Centre in Birmingham include Health & Safety, Workshop Operating Procedures, Service Training, Customer Service, Administration and Management. Pirtek technicians are trained to City & Guilds 2340 Certification in Hose Assembly Systems and
Components. They also learn how to implement the Pirtek Tagging and Hoseclean Systems. Many of our
technicians also carry Personal Track Safety (PTS) and Safety Pass Alliance (SPA) certificates as well as qualifications to enable them to operate in specific sectors including quarries, refineries and food and pharmaceutical production.
Pirtek is proud to have held the coveted Investors In People award for over 10 years. Pirtek holds ISO 9001, ISO 18001 and ISO 14001 accreditation. Pirtek is a full member of the British Franchise Association.
PIRTEK ‘HOSECLEAN’ SOLUTION Cleaning up in the world of hose and tube maintenance The principle is straightforward. Using compressed air, a soft, absorbent plug is forced through the hose and the friction created leaves the hose free of potentially harmful pollution. Using a system known as Patch Testing we are able to establish specific cleanliness levels and significantly reduce the level of ingressed contamination in a hydraulic system. The Pirtek Hoseclean System can dramatically reduce system down time, running costs as well as increasing oil and filter life.
