10 day tour On safari in South Africa at Mabula Lodge
Day 5: Morning Safari Rise and shine early for a morning safari, giving you the chance to spot herds of antelopes and other animals moving in the open. Return to the lodge and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Day 6: Bush Walk, Safari, and Sundowner Join your guide for a guided bush walk into the reserve. Track the paths of animals including kudu, zebra, and even lions that have followed the same path just hours before you. Embark on another open-air safari followed by a stop at a picturesque spot to enjoy a sundowner and snacks as the sun slips behind the horizon. Day 7: Safari and Stargazing Head out into the reserve on your penultimate safari, hopefully spotting something new to tick off your list. This evening your guide will point out the different constellations visible as you spend a wonderful evening beneath the starry South African night sky. Day 8: Safari and Bush Lunch Today brings the chance to take one last safari out into the Mabula Private Game Reserve. After the safari you’ll stop at a scenic spot in the bush to enjoy a delicious traditional lunch. Day 9-10: Fly from Johannesburg to the UK Take your new lifelong memories back home with you on your overnight flight back to the UK.

Day 1: Fly from the UK to South Africa Depart the UK on an overnight flight to one of the best bucket list destinations, South Africa. Day 2: Arrival Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to Mabula Game Lodge. Upon arrival, unwind and settle in, perhaps making use of the wellness and spa facilities. Day 3: Safari and Wildlife Talk Head out into the Mabula Private Game Reserve on the first of many safaris in open-air 4x4 vehicles for maximum visibility. Keep your eyes peeled for the fabled Big Five - hyena, jackal, antelope, cheetah, and honey badger. This afternoon, enjoy a fascinating wildlife talk from the resident ecologist and reserve manager. Day 4: Hornbill Project and Safari Visit the Hornbill Project, located within the boundaries of the reserve. The southern hornbill is a focal point in South African culture, and you’ll learn all about them this morning. Head out into the reserve on an afternoon safari, equipped with the knowledge from this morning’s visit and yesterday’s wildlife talk.
