Recent maintenance or building services management experience at a senior level within a large, complex organisation Experience of operating a service to standards and timescales above normal industry standards Experience of contractual management Experience of managing sub-contractors to deliver services to a high standard

Experience in residential establishments such as Hotel or Halls of Residence Experience of Hard FM management in a PFI environment Mobilisation of new build projects including defects liability management. Lifecycle management experience Experience of managing energy reduction Knowledge of working to external quality management systems

Skills/Ability/ Knowledge

Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations, Building and Fire Regulations Ability to manage time, prioritise and work to tight deadlines and organise and manage a number of projects Strong people management and motivational skills Commercial awareness Experience with managing a CAFM system Proficient IT skills especially MS Office A recognised professional technical qualification ideally electrical services. Membership of an appropriate building services professional organisation such as CIBSE Strong oral and written communication skills Proven leader, organiser and team player Enthusiastic and diplomatic
