He envisions homeowners raising their houses remotely, or emergency personnel activating elevation systems before landfall. “This gives you the ability to live where you want to live,” he says, “and not risk everything you’ve accumulated your whole life.” Initial pilot builds are targeted for 2026, with coastal and tornado-prone regions prioritized. Partnerships are being structured now to demonstrate full-scale residential and multi-family deployment. A Structure Built to Last “It ain’t if it’s coming, It’s when.” Longevity is central to Jimmy’s belief in steel. “Core 10 steel exposed to the elements is what they call 100-year steel,” he says. “Encapsulated? Hundreds of years.”
