Corporate Management • Contribute to the collective decision-making of the Trust with regard to estate development, enabling the Trust to carry out its corporate responsibilities. • Lead the horizon planning for Board meetings and Trust Management Committee meetings. • Lead the agenda planning for Essentia Operations Board and Essentia’s contribution to senior Trust committees. • Ensure the effective and professional preparation of strategic Board papers prior to publication. Team Management • Responsible for the management of the Investment Portfolio, Integrated Programme, Governance and Finance departments and teams. • Ensure that team structures and individuals employed within the various services are organised to achieve maximum effectiveness in delivering Trust, SBU and Essentia objectives. • Develop and lead a team that will drive and support high performing business performance based on sound and relevant data. • Ensure that an effective performance management system operates for individuals at all levels. • Ensure that staff are effectively managed and developed within a performance appraisal framework including personal development plans, to ensure an efficient, engaged and highly motivated workforce. • Ensure that all staff managed comply with Trust and Essentia policies and procedures. • Ensure compliance with all mandatory training ad optimal completion of Trust/NHS staff surveys.
