Qualifications/Education MBA qualification, or equivalent professional qualification or experience.
Master’s degree, and additional in-depth professional training and knowledge of financial management, performance management, NHS regulatory processes and complex programme management to doctorate or equivalent level, acquired through training and experience over an extended period. Evidence of continued professional and managerial development. Professional Registration Relevant professional registration eg APM. Previous Experience Extensive experience of leadership and achievement at executive level in a relevant field in a large, complex environment. Extensive, significant experience of formulating long term, organisation-wide strategic plans and development of projects resulting in positive value for money outcomes. Experience of organisation-wide policy development, interpreting complex legislative and other requirements. Extensive, in depth executive level experience of strategic financial management, with significant exposure to resourcing large and complex capital projects. Extensive experience in resolving major programme management, delay, technical and commercial issues in complicated financial transactions. Significant, proven experience of leading programme office teams with successful outcomes in a complex development environment involving major (>£100m capital value) infrastructure projects. Extensive experience of NHS regulatory processes, governance and strategic programme reporting. Knowledge Specialist knowledge and awareness of change management tools and techniques Excellent in-depth, professional understanding and specialist knowledge of complex and challenging programme management. Extensive in-depth knowledge of financial management, with significant exposure to the strategic resourcing of large scale, complex capital projects.
