2022 1st Quarter Crime Report
Citywide Group A crime increased 6.3% in the First Quarter of 2022 compared to the First Quarter of 2021. Crimes Against Persons increased 14.0% with increases in simple assaults and intimidation offenses and forci- ble sex offenses. Crimes Against Property increased 3.5% with increases in arson, counterfeiting/forgery, em- bezzlement, and stolen property offenses. Crimes Against Society increased 5.0% with increases in animal cruelty, pornography/obscene material, and prostitution offenses.
