The Fundamentals of First-Year Fitness will go over what makes it so difficult to stay healthy in college and how to build a healthy lifestyle. CWU Recreation Personal Trainers will be giving tips and tricks to stay healthy during your time here at CWU and resources available to help you stay the Fit Cat you are! GET A JOB! Discovery 103 | Student Employment & Career Services Working on campus helps connect you to other students, faculty and staff. Join Student Employment and Career Services as they share how to find and land that perfect on- campus job. GOT SPORT? Dean 104 | University Recreation Learn about competitive and recreational sports offered on campus and how to get involved. You can learn about University Recreation, how to join one of the 20 Collegiate Sport Clubs, and how to win a legendary Intramural Champion t-shirt! If you were a high school athlete, are into fitness, love sports, or just want to try something new, you will want to attend this session.

HEALTHYMIND, GOOD TIMES! Science 101 | Student Counseling Clinic

This session will cover some helpful information about developing healthy self-care habits that can help you to be successful–both academically and socially during your years at CWU. We will also give some pointers about how to get connected on campus.

WHEN THE STARS ALIGN: YOUR CAREER PATH Discovery 101 Planetarium | Career Services & Physics Faculty

While it may be fun to read your horoscope, using astrology to choose a career may not be the best plan. During this session experience the Lydig Planetarium and learn about Astronomy and them many career exploration tools offered through the CWU Career Services. WILDCAT DISCOVERY TOUR AT THE BROOKS LIBRARY/ACADEMIC SUCCESS CENTER Brooks Library Come to this session to meet the friendly and very helpful people at the Academic & Research Commons (ARC). The ARC staff will demystify the services they offer and make it easy for you to get the research and academic support you will need at CWU. In this session you will learn about the services we offer students, including the suite of services at the Academic Success Center inside the ARC: math and writing tutoring, Peer-Assisted Learning groups, and online tutoring. You will also take a tour and have the opportunity to test out all the of the collaborative technology housed in the ARC.
