Learn how to get involved with 88.1 FM The ‘Burg, CWU’s nationally recognized college radio program and state-of-the-art station located in the SURC. We help prepare you with everything you need to get your own music, news, sports, or talk radio show or podcast. Other engagement opportunities include assisting with promotions, production, event management, and more. Have fun, learn broadcasting techniques, build your portfolio, and make some of the best friends you’ll ever have! No experience necessary and all training provided.
BEYOND POLITICS Black 142 | CWU Faculty
Ideally, CWU is a place we can all feel at “Home.” We reside within a greater global/national community where our opinions are often polarized and sometimes divisive. Our goal as a campus is to engage in conversations that foster clarification of personal views and comprehension of the viewpoints of others. Join CWU faculty as we navigate this potentially provocative and controversial topic. BROTHER 2 BROTHER: Black 136 | A Part of the Student African American Brotherhood (Open to all men enrolled at CWU) Brother 2 Brother is a dynamic organization established specifically to assist our participants to excel academically, socially, culturally, professionally, and in the community. B2B is primarily comprised of male students who strive for academic excellence and make a commitment to plan and implement programs that benefit their community at large. We encourage our participants to embrace leadership by being positive examples for each other through a strong commitment to academic achievement, brotherhood and community service. We provide weekly study sessions, weekly developmental seminars for students of all ages, business meetings, social and religious activities, and work with various non-profit service agencies.
