Summary: The Coordinator must coordinate, develop and evaluate programs delivered to children in order to reach quality concerning custody that meets the requirements of the Ministry of Education of Ontario which comes to support the vision. Requirements: Must have a two years’ College degree in Early Childhood Education; Be a Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario; Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Child Care / Early Childhood Education; Have thorough knowledge of the Day Nurseries Act and an ability to interpret and administer provincial, federal and municipal laws and regulations governing the various programs within the department; Have excellent organizational skills to be able to prioritize the workload to meet the deadlines and performance objectives; Knowledge of the governmental and community programs related to Child Care Services; Good oral and written knowledge of French and English; Knowledge of the different technological equipment and programs operation used in the department; General knowledge of client files components; Be able to perform complex writing, calculations and analysis, especially when writing reports and summaries; Thorough knowledge of child development; Maintain a good working relationship with daycare operators and knowledge to answer their questions.
