We were informed by the President’s Office on January 23, 2026, that all written communications were due by February 6. CWU 107- 02 stipulates all written communications need to be received within seven days of regularly scheduled board meetings. Assuming this means seven business days, that would mean communications should have been submitted by February 9, 2026, so we are unsure of why we were given a deadline of February 6. Regardless of whether the submission deadline was February 6 or 9, the letters of support dated February 10 and 11 should not have been included in the February meeting packet. Instead, as stated in CWU 107-02, they should have been included in the following meeting packet. Finally, we noted that one letter (from the ELT) was added even later on February 12), after the packet was originally published and noticed in Central Today. This late addition creates confusion and was not announced. In fact, the Board packet on the website incorrectly states that it was last updated on February 11. As the Board Secretary, we request you acknowledge these violations of Board policy at the Board meeting tomorrow and also correct the packet promptly to remove the letters received past the submission deadline.
