Results of Vote of No Confidence

Dear Trustees, We write to share the results of the faculty-wide vote of no confidence. The Faculty Senate administrative assistant was the only person who had access to the survey and ballots throughout the voting period. The ballots were counted and validated by another staff member not affiliated with the Senate. In total, 375 faculty (82.4% of the 455 eligible faculty) submitted their ballots. Results were as follows: 9.1% ( n = 34) indicated “yes” they have confidence in President Wohlpart’s leadership. 81.6% ( n = 306) indicated “no” they do not have confidence in President Wohlpart’s leadership. 9.3% ( n = 35) abstained. We shared the results with President Wohlpart yesterday evening. We will share the results publicly on Friday. We request a meeting with the Board of Trustees as a whole or the Executive Committee to discuss these results as soon as possible. Sincerely, Faculty Senate Executive Committee
