In short, under current leadership, our University, to which many of us have devoted our professional lives, faces what may be an existential threat. The Board has not publicly given any indication that they represent the severity of the current crisis, and we implore you to take swift and decision action.
This document represents the sentiments of many faculty. Because of time constraints of finals week and the current culture of fear, not all of these faculty were available or comfortable adding their names to this document.
