SEKO - Global Policies & Employee Handbook 2019

4.18 How should you dress as a SEKO employee?

4.21 What if information in your SEKO Employee Records changes after you are hired? It is important that SEKO’s employee records are complete and up-to-date. Please notify the Human Resources Department of any change in your home address, name, authorized payroll deductions, immigration status, name(s) of beneficiaries for any applicable group plan, persons to notify in case of emergency, telephone number, marital status or number of dependents. We need this information for insurance purposes, to comply with governmental regulations and to notify your family in the event of an emergency. Employees who wish to view their employee files may do so by scheduling an appointment with the Human Resources Department. Access to personnel files is limited to the Human Resources Department and authorized personnel from SEKO. In compliance with SEKO’s C-TPAT Security Profile, all visitors must sign in and out at the Front Desk, must produce an acceptable form of identification if their identity is not already known, must wear a badge, and must be escorted by an employee at all times while at SEKO. Employees of SEKO are responsible for the conduct of personal visitors during working hours and at SEKO business social functions. Visits during working hours should be of minimum length. You are responsible for ensuring that your personal visitor is appropriately dressed at SEKO and at SEKO business social functions. 4.23 What should you do if you receive Information Requests from outside third parties about SEKO? On occasion, SEKO may receive requests for information from federal and state agencies or entities or other persons who regulate SEKO, counsel, representatives of the press or other persons. Due to the regulated nature of our business, these inquiries may be very important and should be handled by appropriate personnel. Any such inquiries, along with any other inquiries for information about SEKO or its business, facilities, employees, suppliers or clients, should be directed to the Chief Executive Officer or President. 4.22 Is it acceptable for you to have Personal Visitors at the workplace?

SEKO prides itself in being a professional organization and has clients visiting regularly. Business casual attire is appropriate dress for most business days as long as your appearance remains professional. You should wear business attire that matches the expectations of the individuals with whom you have meetings, be they clients, prospective clients, or other individuals on those days such individuals will be in the office - and when you travel to their offices. Always dress in formal business attire for the first visit to a new or prospective client. If you have any questions about whether your appearance complies with our guidelines, please speak with your manager or the Human Resources Department. As always, use common sense and judgment. If you have to wonder “Should I wear this to the Office?”, the answer is probably “No”. 4.19 What if you Travel on SEKO business or incur other Business Expenses? SEKO reimburses employees for travel and other business expenses in accordance with the Travel Policy, a copy of which will be provided to you upon request from the Human Resources Department. 4.20 To whom at SEKO should you go if you have Questions or Complaints about your work? At one time or another, you may have complaints or questions about your work. Usually you can get the answers to these questions through informal discussions with your manager or the Human Resources Department. If your manager or the Human Resources Department does not know the answer, he or she can get it for you. Occasionally, however, you may feel that a problem has not been resolved to your satisfaction. Therefore, if you have escalated the problem to your manager and still are unhappy with the result, or the problem involves your manager, please request a meeting with the Human Resources Department. Your manager and others involved may be asked to attend the meeting. After a review, you will be given an answer. We are sincerely interested in you and your problems, and this procedure is designed to make sure that any complaint you may have receives prompt and thorough consideration.
