With Red Blood, Provision and Tradesman in her pedigree, 532 is bred to be “Real World” and make a living in the pasture, but is certainly stylish enough to take to the show ring first. Both her sire and dam, Boone and Thelma 262, were very successful for the Ladner family, winning Champion Red Angus and MS Bred at both Dixie Nationals. If you like them stout and bred to make a living on forage, this should be your selection. The Blockade 30B cattle are phenomenal at converting forage to red meat. Take a look at her carcass numbers and see what this female can add to elevate your Red program. LOT 46 – W3CC PAISLEY 601P We enjoyed several years of hauling cattle around the state and seeing and meeting some of the finest people in the world. My daughter learned a lot and we became better by learning from those we had the pleasure to meet. We didn’t always win the banners, but we had cattle that were competitive in the ring and the vast majority are earning their keep in our herd today. We want to pass on that experience to other families by offering two spring show heifers. These heifers have two Dixie Nationals, a State Fair, and as many jackpots as you want to haul them too in front of them. A lot of the hard work is done with them being broke to lead and daily feed and haircare begun. We start with a January born Bieber CL Energize out of a JCL Bandito cow that we campaigned near the end of Leah’s show career. This heifer has a lot of good parts. The first thing that will catch your eye is the balance and style she carries herself with. She has lots of rib shape and depth of body. She’s not one you’ll have to spend a fortune on feeding as she is low maintenance. What you do spend, you should easily make up in making her a breeding piece with her balanced EPDs to go with her showring appearance.
